Given the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we want to reassure you that the health and well-being of our employees, consultants, vendors, and clients are always our top priority. System Soft Technologies is adhering to guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and other local and national health organizations. We continue to take every precautionary measure available to ensure the safety and well-being of our employees, and we are continuously monitoring the situation so that we can continue to provide updates as necessary.
All System Soft Technologies employees have been asked to follow these guidelines:
- Employees working in our corporate offices are strongly encouraged to utilize the company’s remote work policy, particularly those employees who work in states with shelter-in-place mandates, are high-risk, or need to care for family members who have been impacted by the virus. Employees working at client projects may also request remote work capabilities by contacting our team or the client.
- Employees who opt to come in to the office should practice social distancing and aggressive hygiene measures to reduce the risk of possible transmission. However, employees are advised to not come in to the office if they are experiencing flu-like symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, body aches, headache, chills or fatigue.
- Employees who have been exposed to the virus should inform their manager and HR as soon as possible, and seek immediate medical care. Similarly, employees who demonstrate signs or symptoms of a communicable disease that poses a credible threat of transmission in the workplace should report that potential infection or disease immediately to Human Resources. Employees will be required to submit a healthcare provider’s certificate to return to the workplace.
- Employees working at client sites should also understand and comply with the client’s specific policies and procedures surrounding health protocols.
We also remain dedicated to providing superior support to our valued vendors and clients without interruption. Please rest assured that we are committed to communicating all pertinent information, upon receipt and as lawfully allowed, concerning any knowledge of exposure to, or infection with, the COVID-19 virus, in an effort to mitigate the effects of this virus amongst peers and communities. Our employees have also been re-advised to work with you to understand and comply with your company’s specific policies and procedures regarding health and safety. Furthermore, all SSTech corporate support staff are leveraging remote work capabilities to ensure that there are no lapses in our service, and that all business needs are addressed in a timely manner.
We recommend that you continue to monitor CDC guidance and notices on the COVID-19 virus. The CDC maintains a dedicated website, which addresses many FAQs: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/about/.
